Re: Asymmetric....................really ????

Random Success...gambling ??? Clarke Johnson claims to hear it every time, I find very uniform results, and so does Allen Wright. The comminality us three share is that we all simply listen.

Now Ray, heres a good one for you. In 1978 a preamp designer and I were in Minneaplois, meeting with Mr. Bob Fulton. He tested Bob, me and two others BLIND, his prototype preamp had two switch positions, one switch position for each circuit iteration.

At the end of the test, when we compared notes, Mr. Bob Fulton and I agreed 100%, ten out of ten, as to what was "A" and what was "B". Fulton's assistant, Mr. Bob Fredere, agreed with Bob and I, 70 percent. The other fellow showed no correlation.

Then..... the engineer informed us that the circuits in both positions were the SAME, it was indeed only ONE circuit, and all he was doing was flipping the switch.

I turned to Bob Fulton and asked him, why do you and I have 100% agreement, and Mr. Fredere had 70 % agreement?

Mr. Fulton thought for awhile and said to me, " as he was flipping the switch, he was interrupting the musical signal a certain way each time, and we both locked into those disturbances and we were able to identify them aurally." Well, that made sense to me. Does it make sense to you??

Imagine Bob and I going ten for ten. Its one of my very favorite audio listening experiences!! Yeah Ray, no problem hearing absolute polarity at 180 degree changes of the entire MUSICAL PLAYBACK...DUCK SOUP.

Hell, if you're in a room and a bullet goes through the walls, you can HEAR and know the direction it entered and exited......as long as it didn't hit you!!
