I think you were an ANGEL to so patiently try to explain this to Mr. Ray Moth, and hopefully others will also gain a grasp of this.Mr. Ray Moth, you're a good guy, why get bogged down in thinking and understnding? Start reversing speaker leads on some of your LPs!
About every Erato is reversed and many of the Sheffield Audiophile LPs were out of absolute as I recall. With a little bit of careful listening, it is EASY to hear, an almost intuitive feeling you get, and it is confirmed, or not, when you reverse absolute polarites.
So Ray, as Click and Clack the Tappet Brothers say, " don't waste your time or burden yourself with the thinking process.... or...even worse, with obfiscating thinking." Ray, expereience the phenomina at home directly, and teach yourself. A bold new world awaits, be a good-listener. Old audio-junkie-cats like Allen Wright and I, why .......we do it all de time, and so can you !!
Steve, you had the patience of an ANGEL, Bravo Steve, Bravo !! I sure as hell couldn't have done that. Nice .
Seems to me like the good listeners are often bad explainers, AND...vice versa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats pretty funny, but it sure seems that way to me.
