Hi,

You sound like you have heard significant differences by moving
speaker toe-in a fraction of an inch. I have. I feel that image size
is being affected.

I find it interesting that we have no quantitative measurements for
image size or soundstage. How big should a soundstage be? How big
should an image be? What makes an image big? Perhaps phase anomalies
(or distortion components) are affecting these subjective terms (and
that includes feedback :) I've observed that increasing second and
third order distortion makes an image appear bigger. Why?

When I get a bigger soundstage, it has been because I've made
my amplifier quieter (in terms of signal to noise). Is soundstage
determined by signal to noise ratio? I don't think I've seen
a discussion on this.
