Why do you keep ducking the fact that film does not have enough exposure lattitude to capture them? You dance and change your story over and over, yet you cannot face that one simple fact.
The best films of that day had at most a 3 f-stop lattitude. The exposure times required on the moon would be at least a dozen f-stops beyond the minimum threshold of detection by the emulsion.
Anyone up for an experiment? Grab your camera, go outdside during the day and record what a daylight exposure would be. Then at night take your camera back outside and see what you get at the daylight exposure setting when pointing it at the stars......report your findings for Mr. Johnson.
Just be ready to be labeled as one of the consipracy supporters, speaking about belittling.
