Yup, that you did say. And yes, I agree. But ya did use examples of materials which do not affect the inductance by virtue of having no conductivity and a permittivity equal to that of free space..it's one of those really really unimportant points that I like to call attention to, what with me being such a nitpicker and all..:-)

Absolutely. Steel with some permeability, and conductive materials. Steel will tend to enhance the inductance, but interestingly enough, conductive materials will tend to lower the inductance due to eddy current reaction...foil actually being waayy too thin to do much at all however.
