Technical and scientific discussion of amps, cables and other topics.

I don't think so.

HI.

From my years experience, your comment on ICs built of pure silver (not sterling silvers or the like industrial grade silvers) is either hearsay, misled or circumstancial.

How come my audiophile friends & I never got such lousy sonic impresssions from the cables I DIY design-built with minimum 4N pure silver wires hooked up to all different gears ????

One should blame the audio gears hooked up to the silver cables NOT good enough to match them.

My phono interconnects I custom built is only 1-ft short to eliminate signal loss. It works beautifully.

"Dynamics"? You bet. I just tried the newly arrived DVD-audio recording: Beethoven Symphony No. 9, on my cheapie Pioneer DVD-audio player via ALL silver interconnects. I've never heard any other similar recordings that could come close in term of dynamics & musicality.

I used oxygen-free pure coppers for my ICs before I switched to pure silvers. I am happy I did so & I never want to go back.

PS: One got to know the way to handle pure silvers, like breaking in thoroughly.
