You forgot to mention KH had no polices listed on her election site for the majority of the campaign. Moistened fingers were in the air trying to determine which way the winds were blowing.

Detroit's problem was created by white flight after the Great Migration. Black people came north to work in Detroit's auto plants; white auto workers didn't want to live in the same neighborhoods and fled to the suburbs.
When that wasn't far enough away, they built more suburbs and fled there.
You put that many houses on the market at once, property values crater and so does the city's tax base. From that point on, it no longer matters what racial group runs things. The city is circling the toilet bowl.

Allegheny County got a couple mill from the Infrastructure Act. The money is being used to build a motion picture studio and expand the Great Allegheny bike trail. The County also got money to make needed improvements to the four big County parks. We, the public, benefit.
Tax credits to offset health insurance premiums were expanded, at least through the end of next year. That's a big help to us since my wife won't qualify for Medicare until 2026.

In other words, not very many Pennsylvanians support it.Most of us would be happy if the Marcellus Shale never existed. The industry pushes its weight around like it owned the state, and it's draining watersheds. Even in drought years, like this year, the fracking industry still takes the water. There are other important industries that employ, you know, human type people, they depend on the rivers and lakes, too.
And sometimes, it's not just whitewater rafting that's affected, it's a water supply. Big reservoir in Westmoreland County nearly ran dry last year. Regular customers had to cut back on water use, but not the fracking companies.
