A friend waited well more than a year for his Reference arm. It is my understanding that Mr. Shroeder suffers from arthritis or something similar, and cannot keep up with the demand for his arms. That is a shame.But, as long as you have something else to play, it is probably worth the wait. It is a very, very good arm (I've heard it in several systems, primarily with an Allaerte cartridges).
I would insist on someone with experience setting up the arm. I saw the US importer set up the arm and it did not look easy. The threading of the monofilament "pivot" looked particularly tricky.
