AW,I agree that capacitative instablility can have an adverse sonic impact. Having said that, I think the case CAN be made for some of the "newer" devices in the signal path. Let's be clear, I'm talking about source follower service ONLY. The CRUCIAL reverse transfer capacitance IRFBC20 is a low of 8.6 pF. Just as important is the fact that the reverse transfer capacitance is essentially constant once Vds is above 10 V.
