It might look complex but it's just a plain Jane (or should I say "Miss Piggy" for the insiders) fet source follower, and will sound exactly like a source follower - to my ears - ugly!The SLCF can be done with tubes,bipolars, MOSFETs, or a hybrid mix of them all - but I can assure you my actual experience - the all tube version sounds SERIOUSLY better than one containg any MOSFETs!
In fact I have a unbreakable rule now - that MOSFETs of any kind have no place in an audio signal path - and jfets only if there is no other good solution!
