You might consider a Magnecord 728 or 748. Complete grounds up rebuild set me back $600.00 each, well worth it IMO. Both will handle 10.5 reels and are chock full of TUBES for that pure tube audio.I have one of each as well as a Magnecord 1024 and vynil to tape is flawless IMHO. I have tapes that I made up in the early seventies using BASF tape that are still playing on a regular basis.
