it's about as good as it gets. The Tandberg AC10 Actilinear is a good machine, the Otari MX5050 is a good machine. I'm thinking Studer A80, A800, Ampex ATR102, Nagra, but upkeep on these machines is in another league than your Revox. Heads for the high speed machines have large pole pieces and high prices and getting harder to replace because they are not being made except by one or two companies and they charge bigtime. Ray
