Please refer to the ad on the back page of TAS' latest and please explain what the addition of a battery with a "wire down the middle of the cable which is simply an extension of the battery's anode" accomplish? What, if any, is the science behind this? Any benefits in so doing? Getting more sceptical as the days go on, I thank you for your answers.The idea is to maintain a bias on the cable dielectric such that the polarization of the dielectric remains unipolar throughout the signal swing preventing any change in poliarity, supposedly to reduce distortion from such a polarity change.
