The filament in a tube is subject to this same type of mass-related thermal hysteresis. Many (budding) tube designers have expressed amazement that the filament power supply plays such a big role in the final sound of a tube circuit. Physics, as usual, supplies many clues.Indeed. And I presume this would be even more critical in DHTs, yes?
