How does it compare to platinum doping, ion implantation, or ionizing radiation?
One of the product lines I worked with years ago was a 1 and 3 amp diode production facility, all military. To speed up some of our product, they implanted gold to kill lifetime, that was for the 15 nanosec, 150 volt product. Course, Vf suffered a bit, and Ir was boosted all to smithereens..
Any info on the higher speed product introducing popcorn noise within the supply system?
