other than don't do it has anybody got any tips?i've been lumbered with a nightmare gig on thurs night (4 bands, one a ska punk band with a brass section) and it'll also be my first attempt at live band work as well (talk about the deep end!)
unfortunately the only mics on hand are Shure SM58's which i'm having to borrow off a mate
thankfully it's not a massive room but unfortunately it is long and thin with the stage in the middle of one of the long walls
however because of this hopefully the rest of the kit wont need any mics i'd just like to be able to put the kick through the subs to add a little thump to the proceedings
any suggestions?
