I did not say that the Citation was a poor amp. I have a pair of them myself, BTW, and I have sent many people to you for refurbishing theirs, rather than cutting them up. I believe they were one of the more under rated amplifiers in the so called 'Golden' age, along with the W-6's.
In referring to MFA, I was merely trying to point out the quality of the amplifier. To hoard Citation transformers along with the Peerless 20-20's must surely place the Citation iron in the top tier of components.
My apologies if I wrote in a way that led you to believe that the Citations were second rate. Then again, the quality of the amp is sometimes dependent on the guy who built the kit....
