I guess i wasn't making myself clear (as usual)If we work under the assumption that even the inductance of a 2 inch piece of wire can cause problems in this situation, what happens if we take that 2 inch piece of wire and form three loops and call it an air cored inductor? I think we all will agree that the inductance will go up and the situation will get worse. Now my question is can adding a core (even a lossy one) ever net you less inductance than the original 3 turned air core situation?
