Danny,Thanks for the pointer to e-bay, I'll have a look.
No doubt about it, Dolby C does seems to work well on the 215 (as compared to the CR7E, where both Dolby B & C mullah dynamics and transparency - to my ears).
I'm presently using TDK SA-X 90 with the tape select set to type II/120. Additionally I have TDK MA 90 to try out (both these TDK tape brands are without, price comparable peer, on the Nak).
