Thanks for all of the info. You gave me some things to think about and research. Too bad we can't go to the local audio store any more and audition a few but those days have long past.I was at a local estate sale and saw a Teac A-2300SX which looked in good condition and came with a box of unused tape which I got for $40. I'm hoping that this will give me some insight on issues and how much I think that I'll like reel-to-reel before jumping into a big buy. Hopefully, with some research and a little time I can come up with a good solution.
