No, the goal of using a bunch of test gear and measurements is to ensure that someone who wants to just listen to the music and not bother with metaphysics and pseudoscience can do so.If one just wants to listen to music, then what's the point of all the test gear and measurements? Doesn't take but a pair of ears--hell, for that matter, just one ear--to tell if something's playing music or not.
