The latter interact with what's at either end and often therefore outweigh the former. Until a greater degree of perfection is reached in electronic components (anyway their input and output circuitry) and in loudspeakers, arguments about cables are in my opinion moot.As Steve Eddy says, it's all about what works for you. If that be price, then so be it.
