Forget the follower or a DC servo, just use identical output stages,and bridge the speaker across the two, and feed an inverted signal to one amp channel.In other words, forget using one follower and instad use two followers. :)
He seems to be wanting to go with something as simple as possible, simpler than the SET amp he already has and which is already pretty simple (though it's configured for voltage gain which adds some complexity).
One follower and one cap would be simpler than two followers and two transformers.
