Noise density is expressed as voltage per root square of Hz.

So you have a number like 1uV/rt sq Hz, or in case of a 1k resistor 4nV per root sq Hz.

To get the noise voltage you need to multiply it by the sq root of bandwith of your interest. Bandwidth is defined as F high - F low.

In our example it is 20Hz to 20kHz, or bandwidth of 19,980 Hz. Take the sq root of that number - it is 141.35 - so I rounded it off to 140.

Multiply your noise density by that number and you are done. So that 1k resistor will have 565nV of noise in the band from 20Hz to 20kHz.
