The rest of you can't seem to get ANY test equipment together to attempt to measure wires, or most anything else.It's not about getting ANY test equipment together. I've got a distortion analyzer. It's about getting together test equipment that won't be so easy for you to simply dismiss in the event the results don't match yours.
I went through that shit before with Jon when I had a friend go through the trouble of doing some high resolution impedance plots on some drivers after Jon claimed that manufacturers routinely smoothed their impedance plots in order to hide the big resonant peaks he was claiming existed. The plots were simply dissmissed as a "dog and pony show" because they didn't support Jon's claim.
So to that end, for these measurements, I want them done on nothing less than an Audio Precision rig.
