Aren't listening comparisons, be they blind, short term, long term or those A&B kind of things all within the realm of subjectivism? When JA argues against listening comparisons he's not defending subjectivism while taking a stand against objectism. He's clearly arguing against subjectivism and defending the rights of sightophiles - ie. those minions who accept his magazine as a credible source to substitute for hands on experiences.
