Somebody said, or I thought they said, that 5 channels was "compressed". Now, I think it is, in some way or other, because it cuts down a continuous field of sounds to 5 things.But doesn't stereo cut it down to 2 instead of 5? Aint stereo worse?
I didn't mean any of that bit-rate compression fiddling, and I didn't actually realize you were even thinking about it. Since you were talking about this PSR stuff, I can't imagine why you even bring up that stuff. Yeah, somebody compressed the channels in that recording for some demo. People do that every day, eh, slick?
Didn't it say that they also heard the one that didn't have any bitrate fiddling on it?
