RE: What solution are you using to rip?

Hey, you have an office! I have a table. Though soon 2 new rooms will open up when both leave for college, one in 8 months, the other next year. #2 will likely never return, save for holidays. #1 well, we're just not sure yet.

I never really got serious about it. I think I have DB on my computer somewhere, and JRiver long ago. iTunes was actually the easiest for me. My cd collection is 99% classical and I've always had trouble getting the data in order. It got better on my later efforts, though cover art remained a challenge, and Opera, oh my God, multiple discs out of order, "songs" with the duplicate track numbers...Once I discovered Qobuz and ROON, I just stopped. I rarely buy anything new anymore, so the need disappeared for me. Extra cost I know, but I'll take the simplicity. I did just buy a new Mahler hybrid SACD (it disappeared from Qobuz), maybe give ripping it a try when I get the new machines and see how it goes.

The other problem with my rips, which is a "local" one, is that my old MB Pro is a shared machine, so EVERYONE's music is on here. I've tried to keep my libraries separate, but...corruption is everywhere!
