i don't think asio4all works like that. it is basically a wrapper for kernal API. it exposes asio API. if the application does not use asio API, it is still going through the windows driver which will route singal through the kmixer i think. i played with the setting of the audio device through the control panel. zoom player does not even know the existence of the device if i tell the window not to use the audio capability of the device. now foobar does not have this restriction. i don't know what is going on but i must say i actually prefer the zoom player than foobar even foobar is running asio.
