ASIO

Well, if you've only tried Foobar with Kernel Streaming and other non-ASIO outputs, then you haven't really heard the true Foobar.

ASIO dll output IME is the only output that elevates Foobar to that rare combination of purity, continuity, resolution, and dynamics. Kernel Streaming to my ears is way too soft-sounding while DirectSound and Waveout cannot bypass the Windows K-mixer, which resamples everything to 48kHz, leading to non bit-perfect output.
