I've just recently discovered how to get bit pure output from Foobar via kernal streaming and DirectSound. (prefer KS)I'm verifying this by playing back HDCD material. I'm pretty happy with the sound. But now you say that Asio is even better sounding ? Being an audio-nerd on that never ending quest, I've been playing with asio but can't get any bit-pure output. No HDCD LED although I do get sound output. I'm using a terretec EWX 24/96 on a P4 system. I've also tried a little bit on my other computer with an M-Audio 2496. Any tips ?Greg
