The WMV Pro has a 30-day trial period. I think trying it yourself should best answer your concerns.

I'm not familiar with "tags", and the Kernel Streaming with the older Foobar really didn't help things in my setup (the new Foobar does not have this yet). I don't think the WMV Pro has Kernel Streaming, but because of the 30-day trial, it should not stop you from trying it. (I don't know what a "K-mixer" is.)
