I agree. We have a patio door on one side of the system, and closing the curtains over it makes a difference.Another recent tweak we made was to remove the large teddy bear we had sitting between our speakers. The equipment rack has room for a turntable, which is packed away until I finish my preamp project. Removing the upper shelves and the bear opened the soundstage to the rear. Placing a Sonex foam panel on the rear wall between the speakers at listening ear height increased the depth even more.
