Yes i was referring to the inverted polarity coming off the transformer. The lesser reading is the one your looking for ... i can't specifically remember my numbers but reversed produced significantly lower numbers. My 777es didn't sound bad the way it came ... but it was definitely better "corrected." To add to the fun ... well not that much fun, but i quess that's why it the Asylum. Watch what ac plugs you're using if you diy. The P&S and i believe some of the Hubbell use a nickle plated neutral. So by switching wires another variable would be added with the different material.
