At the website it says that it is a KNOWN fact that many musical instruments have their musical signature above 20 KHz. I didn't know that fact. Can somebody give some good references that establish this fact? That would mean that nearly all listeners are missing the musical signatures of many instruments when they go to a live concert. The website also implies response above 20 KHz is needed for good low frequency response. Why is that? If you can't hear anything above, say, 15 KHz, it isn't going to make any difference. Perhaps they fell into the trap of thinking that this very high frequency response will improve transients in the lower frequencies, which of course is nonsense if you can't hear at those high frequencies.jsm
