Thanks Rob, and every one else who responded. I had found that page when I did the Google search. That was a good source of information. If nothing else, I learned a bit more about tubes. It's fascinating.I think I'll stick with the Amperex PQ 7119s. I like them alot in my amp. A good balance of transparency compared to the 5687s, and body compared to the 6900s. I'm not adventurous enough to modify my amp to optimize it for the 6900 tube. I really love it as is. The improvement I've gotten with my tube rolls thus far have been quite subtle. If anyone is interested in trying the MU 6900s, please email me privately. I'll make you a deal.
