There are lots of amps out there. Sort them into which ones have gone to the trouble of a valve rectifier and choke-input power supply. If they went that far, they likely went far enough to get a good output to go with it.I have sourced winders to execute my designs, and I have a reasonable idea what a reasonable minimum would be. I got some really nice output TX's built to my spec for less than $90 each in small quantity in a group buy. They are what I would classify as 'Good'. I have two pairs of them actually. Acquiring that capability was simple. Anybody can do it.
It is hard to seperate what part of an example circuit is due to parts and which of circuit design. If you want to discuss this further privately, feel free to email me.
