i'm using a Tung-Sol 12AX7 in the vibrato/reverb channel(i use a 6SL7 in the normal channel) of my 68 Twin Reverb and i like it the best of all the NOS and new production 12AX7's i've tried in that amp. i liked it so much that i put three(3) Tung-Sol 12AX7's in my rebuilt Harmon Kardon A230 intregrated amp, and they really made that amp "sing." great "bang-for-the-buck" product - you can buy these for $13.95 ea. by the way, i always put a 5751 in the phase inverter stage of PP guitar amps, especially Fender amps-a bit more focus to the output, but that might not be your particular "cup of tea" so to speak. later...don
