I recently purchased and tried both the Tung-Sol re-issue and the GT Mullard clone for an ARC sp16 preamp. The choice depends on your preference. The GT is definitetly sweeter and smoother in the treble. The Tung-Sols sounded more dynamic and neutral. The choice depends on personal preference and individual system matching.
