I used to own a SP16 and I rolled new-prod and NOS tubes in it, do a search here for my impressions. My favorites of all were, by far, the Mullard shortplates and TungSol (originals, not new-prod).Now the Rogue mentioned by the other poster... I liked new-prod most of the time. NOS didn't get along as well.
