That we are starting to get such great reports on new production tubes. Gives one hope. Maybe they will never be Amperex and such to some, but they sound like they are still beter than the sand alternative. And as NOS dries up that may be the impetus to better quality if sales of new production increase. It seems like that is what happened with EL34s which became scarce a while ago, new production of these tubes has been considered quite good for some time, at least as long as I have been in this hobby.
