True, unless you have a speaker with a very unconventional cabinet such as the Green Mountain Continuum 3.The mid/treble enclosures get out of the way like the best monitors. In fact, I doubt there's anybody in the industry who puts more effort into the science of enclosures with regard to imaging and dispersion than GMA. However, the large bass modules still give them excellent bass performance and the coherency you get from everything coming from one speaker (a time and phase coherent one at that).
