This Don T guy has a hard-on for Brian Wilson for some reason. He's probably some metal head that just couldn't stand to see his type of music lose popularity. Brian himself told me on the phone that he and the band re-learned all the parts off of the original SMiLE tapes, wrote a 3rd movement with Van Dyke and recorded it. Some songs were left off the '04 version. One of the problems Brian was having with SMiLE in the 60's was getting it to flow....or piece together. This is why the 04 version is the way it is. I'm told McCartney was in the audience for the 1st UK SMiLE show at RFH and was brought to tears by the power of the music. Anyway, I have chosen to ignore Don T's posts. You might think about doing the same.
