While many of Jim's pseudo-intellectual ramblings seem interesting at first, the honeymoon eventually ends and all that remains is a group of 3rd rate jazz players led by (yet another) self-indulgent and self-absorbed manchild. What made the Doors interesting was Morrison's remarkable dedication to self-destruction.
