I haven't heard the Beethoven Quartets readings and best is a moving target. Of all the music I've heard, it's doubtful that I've heard the "best" of anything. Or maybe everything I've heard is the "best"! Music is like stereo gear - the best is subjective, hence it exists differently for different people.Now "my favorite" is something anyone can agree on. I have lots of those.
