Greetings folks,I just received a 5 cd box set of all 15 of Shostakovich's string quartets. I'm listening to them while finishing up Walsh's 2nd Volume on Stravinsky. The latest edition of Liz Wilson's bio on Shostie is next in line.
I attempted to play the disc that features Nos. 6, 8, 9 and the disc would'nt work. I pulled it out and discovered it was cracked right through.....aaaarrrggghhh!!!!!
I have more than half the works on vinyl, but this is a situation where digital is more practical.
Would anybody mind making me a CDR of those 3 quartets??? Please...pretty pleae.....govel....grovel ...grovel...
Thank's, Tom B.
