RE: Watco Danish Oil versus Linseed, etc.? ditto

Watco finishes have varnish in them. That is why they achieve a protective finish. Check out wood working forums for ways to refinish projects without too many unforeseen issues.
A hard oil like Odie's Oil has a hard wax in it so its easily repaired by simply reapplying it. Pretty simple finish that I find very appealling.
