I second that, Danish Oil and linseed based are two very different products, but neither will probably blend well with what you are trying to do. Linseed and linseed/turpentine mix, soak in, while Danish Oil soaks in some, then adds a surface. I use Danish Oil a lot, mainly because of its ease of use, and relatively low VOC's, but rarely use either on anything but bare wood. I wouldn't even recommend Danish Oil on sanding sealer. Whatever you try, the best thing you can do is can find a spot that doesn't show and experiment. Like others have said, restorers will probably work the best.
