I would like to second Mahifi. Just sold my ZX7 because I couldn't justify keeping two tape formats around. But really, RtoR makes little since $15 cd onto $20 tape - check out ebay, almost any cd you can name is available for a lot less. Now, A Cd or Vinyl onto a a .50 tape makes a lot of economic sense and those babies are listenable; more so than many cds we've all encountered. Nonetheless I kept the reel to reel because I just dig the sound. A friend of mine has a 1970s porsche which he LOVES even though it get less gas mileage, handles less well generally, less reliable, no warratny et.c etc. compared to my 2002 VW Golf. But man that car is nice. So what is the harm? Let a thousand flowers bloom man.
