Wear out indicates the condition of unusability. At least that is what Nousaine wrote since he was comparing vinyl to other audio items that die. Yes, records wear -and they might even wear "out" someday... after 1000 years or so. Who knows? Not you, not I and certainly not Tom Nousaine, regardless of his comment.
